Thrust Ball Bearing
Engineered exclusively for pure axial loads on vertical or horizontal shafts. Available in single and double direction.
Technical Overview
Thrust Ball Bearings are designed to handle exclusively axial (thrust) loads. They consist of two washers (shaft washer and housing washer) with a cage containing the balls. They cannot support any meaningful radial load and must always be used with a separate radial bearing to locate the shaft.
Single direction thrust bearings handle axial loads in one direction only. Double direction bearings have a central shaft washer and can handle loads in both directions — useful for machine tool tables, crane hooks, and applications with reversing axial forces.
AMFO Traders stocks the full SKF and FAG thrust ball bearing range.

View all →Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The most widely used bearing type globally. Handles both radial and axial loads in both directions with minimal friction.
Self Aligning Ball Bearing
Two rows of balls with a spherical outer raceway. Automatically compensates for shaft misalignment and angular deflection.
Angular Contact Ball Bearing
Designed for combined radial and high axial loads. The contact angle defines the axial-to-radial load ratio.
