AMFO Traders — Lahore, Pakistan
Quality
Assurance
Every bearing we sell is genuine, traceable, and inspected. Our sourcing process eliminates counterfeit risk at every stage — from manufacturer to your workshop.
Our commitment
Genuine products.
Verified supply chain.
Pakistan's bearing market has a counterfeit problem. Fake bearings look identical to the real thing on the outside — same markings, same box, sometimes even the same hologram. The difference shows up only under load: reduced service life, premature failure, unplanned downtime, and in worst cases, catastrophic machinery damage.
AMFO Traders was built on one principle: sell only what we can vouch for. Every brand we carry is sourced through authorised distributor channels. We hold distributor agreements and documentation. We can trace every bearing in our stock back to its manufacturer lot.
When you buy from AMFO Traders, you are buying the bearing the manufacturer made — not a copy of it.
Our process
How we ensure quality
Authorised Sourcing Only
Every bearing we sell is sourced through authorised distributor channels with direct traceability to the manufacturer. We do not buy from secondary markets, grey-market importers, or unverified wholesalers.
Incoming Inspection
Upon receipt, our team inspects packaging integrity, verifies manufacturer markings, checks dimensional consistency against published tolerances, and confirms certification documentation.
Manufacturer Certification
We can provide original manufacturer test certificates and conformity declarations for all stocked brands — SKF, FAG, NTN, INA, IKO, and AMFO Bearing — upon request.
Counterfeit Detection
Our experienced team is trained to identify counterfeit products. Key checks include laser engraving depth, cage geometry, grease consistency, inner ring finish, and packaging holograms.
Lot Traceability
Every stock item is traceable to its original manufacturer lot. This allows full recall management and enables customers to verify production batch dates for critical applications.
Storage Conditions
Bearings are stored flat on shelving in a climate-controlled, low-humidity environment, protected from direct sunlight. Packaging is never opened until the bearing is sold.
Behind the scenes
Inside our quality control lab
Every bearing is physically inspected by our QC team before it reaches stock — at Big City Plaza, Liberty Roundabout, Lahore.
Compliance
Industry standards we adhere to
International standard for quality management covering sourcing, handling, and supply chain traceability.
Defines tolerance classes, dimensional accuracy, and running accuracy for radial ball and roller bearings.
Tolerance and accuracy requirements for thrust ball and roller bearings across all precision grades.
American Bearing Manufacturers Association standard for load ratings and fatigue life of ball bearings.
Brand quality
Quality by brand
AMFO Bearing
ISO 492 / ISO 199 compliantAMFO Bearing products are manufactured to ISO 492 and ISO 199 dimensional standards. Each batch undergoes outgoing quality control checks covering geometry, surface finish, and noise level before shipment.
SKF
P0 – P2 precision grades availableFounded in 1907, SKF bearings are manufactured to the highest precision tolerances in the industry. Each SKF product carries laser-etched traceability codes linking it to the specific production plant and date.
FAG
X-life high-performance variants stockedFAG (Schaeffler Group) bearings are manufactured in Germany and globally, with every production facility certified to ISO/TS 16949. FAG's X-life product range delivers 70% higher dynamic load rating than standard.
NTN
JIS B 1514 compliant stockNTN Corporation manufactures to JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) and ISO tolerances. NTN bearings undergo 100% dimensional inspection before leaving the production facility.
INA
DIN 617 / ISO 3030 compliantINA needle and roller bearings are manufactured by Schaeffler Group to DIN and ISO standards. INA components are used as OEM parts in major automotive and machinery applications globally.
IKO
ABMA Std 18.2 certified stockIKO (Nippon Thompson) needle roller bearings meet ABMA, JIS, and ISO standards. IKO's precision machining ensures dimensional accuracy to within microns across millions of production pieces.
TIMKEN
ISO 355 / ABMA Std 19.2 compliantTimken (USA) has manufactured tapered roller bearings since 1899, engineered to ISO and ABMA standards. Timken's metallurgy and heat-treatment processes deliver extended fatigue life under heavy and shock loads.
Counterfeit awareness
How to spot a fake bearing
Blurry or shallow engravings
Genuine bearings have deep, sharp laser or stamped markings. Fakes often have shallow, blurry, or painted-on text.
Lightweight packaging
Authentic manufacturer boxes have specific weight and feel. Counterfeit packaging is often lighter, poorly printed, or uses incorrect fonts.
Rough inner ring finish
Genuine bearings have polished, mirror-smooth raceways. Fake bearings often show visible machining marks or roughness.
Incorrect grease colour
Each brand uses a specific grease formulation and colour. Wrong colour or visible contamination is a red flag.
No documentation available
Reputable distributors can always produce a certificate of conformity or datasheet. If they cannot — do not buy.
Request documentation for your purchase
For any bearing from AMFO Traders, you can request a certificate of conformity, distributor invoice, or manufacturer datasheet. We maintain records for all stock items and respond within 24 hours.
