Spherical Roller Bearing
Two rows of barrel-shaped rollers with a common spherical outer raceway. Extremely high load capacity with built-in self-alignment.
Technical Overview
Spherical Roller Bearings are among the highest load-capacity bearings available. They feature two rows of barrel-shaped (asymmetric) rollers running on a common outer spherical raceway, which gives them the ability to self-align (typically up to 2°) to compensate for shaft deflection and misalignment.
These bearings excel in heavy industrial applications where large combined radial and axial loads occur simultaneously, often with vibration, shock, and temperature extremes. They are the preferred choice for mining, steel mills, cement plants, and marine propulsion systems.
AMFO Traders stocks SKF and FAG spherical roller bearings — one of our most requested heavy-industry bearing types.

View all →Deep Groove Ball Bearing
The most widely used bearing type globally. Handles both radial and axial loads in both directions with minimal friction.
Self Aligning Ball Bearing
Two rows of balls with a spherical outer raceway. Automatically compensates for shaft misalignment and angular deflection.
Angular Contact Ball Bearing
Designed for combined radial and high axial loads. The contact angle defines the axial-to-radial load ratio.
